Hold to build pressure. Release to burst.
ASCII Burst is a pressure test in restraint
Hold to charge an ASCII block, feel it strain, and release at the last safe moment. The longer you hold, the higher your scoreโuntil the block collapses and you lose the run.
How to play
Press and hold Charge to build pressure. Release to burst. If you hold past the collapse threshold, the block caves in and your score drops to zero.
How scoring works
Score is based on pressure at release and how close you were to collapse. High pressure earns more points, but the risk is real. Your best score ranks on the Top 50 leaderboard.
Tips to improve
- Release when the cracks spread, not when it is still stable.
- Listen for the rising tone and use it as your timing cue.
- In combo mode, greed kills runs. Secure one clean burst first.
FAQ
What does combo mode change?
Each successful burst raises the risk and shortens the safe window. One collapse ends the run.
Can I submit scores from either mode?
Yes. Your highest score, whether from classic or combo, is what counts.
