Color Wave Reflex โ€“ test your timing and visual perception

Color Wave Reflex is a reaction-and-perception challenge. A smooth wave of color keeps flowing, but one hue slowly overtakes the others. Click exactly when dominance peaks to score higher.

Why color dominance is hard to judge

Your eyes are great at spotting contrast but bad at predicting when a gradual shift will crest. The best scores come from anticipation, not waiting for full takeover.

How to play

Watch the wave, then click or tap at the moment the leading color feels strongest. Each click scores instantly, and the wave keeps moving.

How scoring works

Your score blends timing accuracy with dominance confidence. Clicking closer to the true peak and during a stronger takeover yields higher points. The leaderboard ranks by your best 10-round average. View the Top 50 leaderboard.

Tips to improve

  • Donโ€™t wait for full takeover; the peak is brief.
  • Track the leading hue, not the edges of the gradient.
  • Stay relaxed and click decisively.

FAQ

Is this reaction or anticipation?

Both, but anticipation wins. The wave rewards timing the crest, not the first obvious dominance.

Does every click count toward the leaderboard?

No. Only completed 10-round runs are eligible for leaderboard submissions.
